Training Guide

Punctuality

  • It is essential to arrive on time for each training session. If you anticipate a delay, you must notify the technical team in advance so that the training schedule can be adjusted.

Warm-up

  • Every player must warm up following the routines set out by the technical team. This is a crucial step to avoid injuries and optimize performance on the court.

Breaks and downtimes

  • Breaks will be monitored and will respect the established times:
    • Maximum rest: 3 minutes.
    • Minor breaks: should not exceed 1 minute.
  • These breaks should be used efficiently to catch your breath and prepare for the next exercise.

Hydration and “Energy Breaks”

  • Hydration is the key. During breaks, water and isotonic drinks will be allowed to maintain adequate hydration levels.
  • Energy snacks such as cereal bars, bananas, dried fruit, nuts, etc., may be consumed during the “Energy Breaks” to maintain energy levels during the session.

Awareness of personal goals

  • Each player must know his or her personal goals within the academy and work daily towards them. It is essential to keep the goals in mind throughout the training.

Pay attention to the objectives of each exercise

  • In each exercise, the player must pay attention to the objectives set by the coaches, understand the purpose of each activity, and strive to meet the requirements.

Follow instructions and ask questions

  • Attention to and follow all instructions from the technical team are essential. Players should feel free to ask questions at any time if something is unclear.

Respect

  • Absolute respect must be maintained towards the technical team, teammates and training materials. It is also mandatory to follow the rules of the sports facilities and respect the common areas.

Stretching

  • Stretching is an integral part of training. At the end of the session, it is mandatory to stretch according to the technical team’s instructions to prevent injuries and improve muscle recovery.

Collection of materials

  • At the end of training, each player is responsible for helping to collect the materials used. Leaving everything in order is an integral part of the commitment to the team and the academy.
